We have 3 rooms in the house, 2 with 5.1 systems and 1 with 7.1 , all running PS3 Sony TV and Denon AV receivers and Apple TV.I don't believe you will ever regret getting a harmony remote, however this is a personal choice and somebody will ALWAYS dislike it no matter how good things are

It does the job we need it to do - the only real downside is that using the original remotes can mess things up, but at the same time, it is sometimes necessary to use the real remotes to do fine tuning operations

Last but not least: I hate shiny black things that can get fingerprints on them, and the Harmony Ultimate falls into this category.

But even with all my Harmony experience and my generally positive impressions of the remote, this thing has really impressed me as a gamer

It takes good technology to make complex things appear simple.

We like the things it has to offer, now we need to take advantage of them.

The nice thing about the Hub is that it is nice and sleek and blends easily into any high-end cabinet

The one thing I do like is the remote is small in size and almost fits in your hand and any changes you make to the actual remote update on your software via WiFi

It's a good thing they have a smartphone app, because the remote's battery is always run down when you go to use it

The issue that I’ve found with daily use of the Ultimate model is that with the DVR function buttons being located ABOVE the touch screen causes to slightly annoying things

This thing has so many issues I returned the 2nd one I bought without even opening the box

The good thing is they don't seem to do the updates that often

The BEST THING EVER about this remove is the free app to also work the remote from your smartphone.

I'm sure some things will be maddening

Playstation 3:One of the very nice new things about the Harmony Ultimate is that the RF base station now also includes WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity

I must admit that I was skeptical at first whether or not this thing was a true home theater master remote but after having it for two weeks and programming it to my specific needs, I am super impressed

And one nice thing about upgrading from the 900 to the Ultimate is I could simply switch the IR cable from the 900 hub to the Ultimate hub and it all worked.

At this point, I think the best thing we can do with the device is contribute it to our local land fill.

I really, really want to be able to give this remote five starts, because it does some things really well, but a few critical, frankly glaring, gaps in it's capabilities prevent me from doing so.

(1) You can use the touch screen to swipe around and do things like swipe up to increase the volume or swipe left to change the channel.

Another nice thing is that once you initially set it up on your computer using the supplied USB cord, all updates are synced wirelessly after that

all past remote control issues have been resolved, and my guests can operate things without creating headaches!The only thing I don't like, and I REALLY don't like it, is the method of programming and organizing your channels.
