It cannot produce the pronounced bass of the iM7 I returned (due to a broken door), but it does have decent bass, acceptable volume, and a generally good sound for such a small system

My critera were a reasonable bass level and a rechargable battery unit.

The Logitec mm50 has a fairly good bass, is rechargeable, and highly portable.

So if big bass is your only concern, then don't buy travel speakers.

I bought these speakers refurbished to get a low price, and I'm very satisfied with the sound they produce -- super clean, decent bass for such a small unit, and plenty of volume.
