I would have rated 5 stars instead of 4 if not for the Spontaneous Battery Discharge problem.

The Good:-Very convenient: a great way to use your iPod.-A good value relative to other similar products.-Charges iPod when included AC adapter is used.-Decent sound volume and quality.-Battery Powered with reasonable life (except for discharge problem mentioned below).-Compact and easily portable although use of AC charger is often required

The Ugly:-Battery usage, unit storage, and portability are limited by the "Spontaneous Battery Discharge" problem: for no reason, unit will turn itself on and drain battery when sitting idle

After 7 months of heavy use, the a/c adapter stopped working.

I charged the iPod, put it in the Logitech cradle (after trying to recharge the Logitech as well, again no blue light), and the Logitech started draining the iPod battery as it was playing

I've seen this as cheap as $

I in no way consider this to be "supporting" the 3G!
