Sound quality is really quite good for a sub-$100 pair of speakers; bass is decent (but can lose grip at higher volumes), treble is crisp and holds it together at all volumes, and mids are there but not overpowering

The huge, glaring downside to these speakers is the laughably bad audio quality

Both are minor nitpicks, and the MX Sound's nice, big speakers and good sound quality make up for them

The quality on these are amazing in my opinion especially for what they’re intended and I’m impressed by the bass response from such small speakers.
