They work and I like that there is only one cord (USB) versus my old speakers that plugged both into the headphone jack as well as into an outlet in the wall

My only complaint is that these are clearly made to be plugged into your computer and placed on either side of your monitor, which works as long as you have your tower set up right next to your monitor as the cords are not exactly long enough for desk set ups where the tower is perhaps under the desk or somewhere other than the desk top.
