If you need an occasional keyboard, with a native style cover, I could recommend the combination of Apple Smart Cover, with the Logitech K810 Keyboard, which has almost full size keys, and can connect to three devices at the same time

The folio is very similar to the iPad Smart Cover

The keyboard is perfect size, and the cover and key board closes just perfect.

Just got it but have to say I really like it, only slightly cheaper than the smart cover and way more functional.

While not as thin as my mini with its Smart Cover and back protector, it is still compact enough to tuck into my purse without adding bulk
