    • scratch that, incredible bass
    • They have great bass and great sound
    • I configured the sound on my PC to support 6 channel 5.1 and fired them up - the sound was garbled by an immensely overpowered bass and confused by the different volume levels between back and front satellites
    • I first tested it on my computer playing some songs from my media player and I noticed that the bass was pretty loud, even after I turned it all the way down
    • Clear sound, great bass, great for music and gaming
    • I have to admit after years of blasting on songs with really loud bass it does rattle a
    • The bass is incredible and the Satellite Spaekers are excellent! The bottom line is that I'm VERY glad I ordered this
    • No distortion, the Bass sounds great even at high volumes
    • Furthermore, the bass is truely wonderful, rich, deep, and effective
    • I've worked a lot with music production so I may have a bit of a sensitive ear for balance, but my gf has not and agrees that the bass is way too loud to be able to enjoy the rest of the music
    • I recieved these speakers two days ago and I have yet to stop listening to the crispy clear sounds and the thunderous bass.
    • I live in an apartment, and if I want to listen to music at night I can't turn it up very loud because the bass is louder than the speakers at low volumes
    • The bass is plenty loud to shake my dorm room's walls and floor on the weekends (perhaps too loud?)
    • nice bass, defiantly loud and pumping
    • Lots of the positive reviews mention that the bass is powerful
    • The bass is indeed powerful and you'd better locate it far from external hard drives or your CPU
    • The sounds is really clear and the bass, when fully turned on, makes the whole room shake.
    • Last and for some possibly most important, the included subwoofer uses the bandpass system which makes bass more refined, crisp and clear from extremely low frequencies to the medium low
    • Clear Sound, excellent Bass
    • powerful bass, in comparison to the other frequencies
    • nice bass, defiantly loud and pumping
    • Considering this system's drawbacks, I would say it is best suited for movies and video games where its loud bass can actually have a very nice effect
    • the first time when I turn the volume to the maximum, the bass can handle that, but the next days later, when I turn the volume to maximum, the bass cant handle that, I can hear the bad sound, the bass is broken the sound, no more clear.
    • The harmonics were missing, leaving instead a thin treble melody backed by mushy sinus collapsing bass.
    • The bass is decent, but the watt limit prevents it from using it at full full volume over a long period time.
    • The next speaker set i bought was the Logitech z2300, those are very loud with great bass
    • Great sound from all the speakers, solid bass from the big sub
    • After firing everything up for the first time, the powerful bass, clear mid-range, and sharp highs were immediately evident.
    • Wonderful speakers, nice bass, no
    • The bass is not bone-shaking, but it's tight and well rounded without that clangy sound associated with smaller, less expensive subs
    • No distortion, the Bass sounds great even at high volumes
    • Like turning the bass all the way up.
    • Then in the last few months the bass went out and rattles now
    • The sound is excellent and the sub-woofer provides surprisingly good bass
    • The bass is so overpoweringly loud
    • The bass sounds well also
    • The bass is powerful, yet you can adjust
    • scratch that, incredible bass
    • The bass is a bit strong, but on the whole the system is quite loud even at half volume
    • It fills the room with decent bass and good surround sound
    • Have been blasting them daily for three years and they sound just as they did brand new, and the bass is hitting just as well.
    • The bass was fine, the treble was okay, but the mid levels were non-existent, resulting in hollow sound.-Subwoofer is HUGE, I mean for a thing that big, there should be a lot more bass coming out of it
    • in high volumnes the bass loses
    • I use them in my dorm room and ive already been yelled at 8 times about how loud the bass is
    • Deep rich bass, crystal clear audio
    • Even with the adjustment knob turned all the way down and the subwoofer swaddled in towels, the bass overpowers the dialogue
    • The speakers were woefully inadequate for full range music, with a huge gaping hole of mid range between big, boomy, inaccurate bass and messy, confusing treble.
    • Nice deep bass
    • but.... its perfect for someone who wants to listen to their music on their computer or ipod and have great bass and another good application for it is gaming, i play a few games and it does sound pretty good
    • If you like big bass, this would be perfect for your computer.
    • The bass is strong and tight at low volume but becomes very loose when it is cranked up
    • Additionally, the bass, especially the mid-bass, is FAR too powerful, even with the sub woofer volume knob turned all the way down
    • They've survived 4 moves, as well as being kept in a box for a year, with no problems
    • they are still going strong and actually sound almost as good as an old 80s onkyo (a REALLY good one) stereo receiver i had hooked up to concert speakers
    • Im using them with the Soundblaster Live external card, which im sure is a significant factor in thier sound, as well as it provides the flexibility in shaping the sound the way I like it.
    • However, if you go buy a stereo to RCA splitter, and connect the RCA output to the RCA adapter (the little black box with red and white inputs on one side, and green black and orange outputs on the other) and connect all channels in the speaker's input onto the RCA adapters other end, then all speakers work and you get 5.1 output even without an specialized sound card (won't be as good as with a sound card, but much better than not using the rear speakers
    • (I love Christie True!) as loud as I can take it.
