    Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System

    • I bought mine for $90 a long time ago and they've been awesome little speakers for me, especially when fed with a Creative sound card
    • As long as you have the sound card able to support this system you will be satisfied.
    • (Emphasis on the pound for pound)These are inexpensive speakers that when combining them with a Creative SB card, will do your ears justice
    • 5.1 Satellite speakers only work with 5.1 capable sound cards
    • If you really want to take advantage of it, upgrade your computer from the integrated sound card on the motherboard -- Creative's X-Fi Xtreme Audio card is an excellent choice, and very inexpensive.
    • Most laptops don't have a nice sound card that has three 1/8" computer sound plugs
    • As long as you have a pc with a good sound card and all the speaker channels being controlled separately, with 5.1 channel functionality
    • I bought these speakers to work with my 24 bit Creative Labs "Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Sound Card" Creative Labs SB0886 PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series Sound Card as part of my PC entertainment center set up.
    • With a good sound card (have them hooked to my computer) they rock
    • Note: To experience these speakers to the full, you will need to have a good sound card (5 or more ports
    • Many people complain that they only get 2 speakers playing when using their desktop,Your destop sound card usually has a setting to check the box for all speakers
    • In addition, I bought the creative sound blaster card for my laptop.
    • But unless you have a good sound card, a 150 dollar system and this one will sound pretty much the same.
    • With a good sound card and the right options on, these speakers give unsurpassed sound quality
    • They've survived 4 moves, as well as being kept in a box for a year, with no problems
    • they are still going strong and actually sound almost as good as an old 80s onkyo (a REALLY good one) stereo receiver i had hooked up to concert speakers
    • Im using them with the Soundblaster Live external card, which im sure is a significant factor in thier sound, as well as it provides the flexibility in shaping the sound the way I like it.
    • However, if you go buy a stereo to RCA splitter, and connect the RCA output to the RCA adapter (the little black box with red and white inputs on one side, and green black and orange outputs on the other) and connect all channels in the speaker's input onto the RCA adapters other end, then all speakers work and you get 5.1 output even without an specialized sound card (won't be as good as with a sound card, but much better than not using the rear speakers
    • (I love Christie True!) as loud as I can take it.
