    • After reading most of the reviews here, I felt pretty confident in the Logitech X-530 5.1 system I just ordered here through Amazon, but a few of the bad reviews did make me wonder if it wasn't the best quality around
    • Excellent for the PriceOVERALL:First, this is the best (sound quality and appearance

    • It's not the cleanest or most perfect treble, but it's good quality
    • They've survived 4 moves, as well as being kept in a box for a year, with no problems
    • they are still going strong and actually sound almost as good as an old 80s onkyo (a REALLY good one) stereo receiver i had hooked up to concert speakers
    • Im using them with the Soundblaster Live external card, which im sure is a significant factor in thier sound, as well as it provides the flexibility in shaping the sound the way I like it.
    • However, if you go buy a stereo to RCA splitter, and connect the RCA output to the RCA adapter (the little black box with red and white inputs on one side, and green black and orange outputs on the other) and connect all channels in the speaker's input onto the RCA adapters other end, then all speakers work and you get 5.1 output even without an specialized sound card (won't be as good as with a sound card, but much better than not using the rear speakers
    • (I love Christie True!) as loud as I can take it.
    • In each of the games I tried, L and R front was very strong, but Center and L and R surround were almost non existent.
