it caused a good mini-surge when plugged in.-Box was visibly damaged upon arrival (no physical damage on the product) and made it feel like it was a stolen product being sold for cheapOverall, it's a cheap buy, and if you're upgrading from something cheap and you don't need a whole 5.1 surround sound setup, it's worth it
