First, I don't think they're shielded or at least they aren't shielded very well because they're picking up unusual noises that my old set wasn't picking up

The system is easy to install and provides a pretty great noise

so i repositioned my router until the static noises went away now all good... still happy with these speakers sound good for 70$ 5.1 system and good build too
