The Z506 in my opinion sounds better than the Z906, although the bigger system would be more suited to larger rooms, but I'll be honest, you should probably be spending the extra for a proper system with a dedicated receiver (Denon, Onkyo, Yamaha, Ect.

This little system works perfect for my uses fills the room I have it in with enough sound

The system seems to be a good value, but one of the 5 output channels does not work, and even though there is a 2 year warranty, I have gotten an amazing "run around" from Logitech.

If someone needs a good computer stereo system but is on a budget, I would recommend this one.

If I were to do it over, I would either purchase a less expensive 2-speaker system and not worry about the setup, or buy a more expensive and powerful speaker system.

Eh, a wireless system would have been better, I ended up only using the woofer and front speakers anyways, center and rears were too much hassle (not just initial setup, surround software and all that was difficult).

My no name 2.1 system blew these away

I gave this system 4 stars originally because it worked and sounded great for the money , for about three months since then I have had nothing but problems with it ... connection issues , buzzing and distorted sound , recently I had to do a simple restart of my P.C. and the whole system stopped working

It's a decent surround sound system and has a good price to it.

It is not as loud as my previous system, but my other system failed a bit of channels on the 7.1 and it had 5 times the wattage as the Z506

This set of speakers provide a dynamic sound system for my laptop which I use most of the time as a desk pc connected to a monitor.

Very good little speaker system for our purposes... would prefer a longer cable on the front right speaker, which has a weird VGA monitor style plug on the end and quite badly limits the distance that speaker can be from the base unit.

In the past, Logitech had some decent systems in the range, such as the X -530 and even the X-540 which could have given my previous system (the VS3251

So fine, I said, maybe I just got a bad Logitech system and I can at least return it, since I bought it new and directly from Amazon (not a Marketplace seller) only a few days before.
