the vswr was 3.4/1 downlink (which is pretty bad).I did not install the antenna because the grid was cracked right at the mounting point.

As it stands, the dual wideband option is much cheaper then this antenna, so I'll be taking my losses and selling this antenna because it's just not providing me the results I thought.

This antenna probably won't add "bars" to your phones signal strength, but it will definitely enhance the quality and bandwidth of that signal.
