The color in the picture is not quite accurate it is more of a reddish mahogany then cherry.

The color is still very nice and blends well with cherry furniture, walnut or dark brown

We love the color and the quality was fine.

The words do state mahogany, so they are not wrong, but they should use an actual picture with the correct color.
