In the tradition of the Carters, the Gatlins and the Whites, Hillary Scott and The Scott Family are popular country artists who have dug deep into their gospel roots to create a labor of love with cross-genre and generational appeal.

It's a great mix of modern sounds, with a nod to classic country/bluegrass/gospel sensibilities, and there's just so much emotion coming from Hillary's voice.

A couple of the songs like "Ain't No Grave" and "Sheltered in the Arms of God" have that classic country feel to them, possibly due to Hillary's mother, Linda Davis, a Grammy-winning country singer
