Makes for clean control

I like the control I have in making the shaker sounds on the downward attack and silence on the upward motion.

I like that sound is very controlled.

Great control and not too loud for small acoustic ensembles

Unlike other shakers, these only shake on the downstroke, which makes for a much more pleasant, controlled type of percussion.
