Sound is rich, rumbly bass, very comfortable around the ear, and noise cancellation is also very nice.

They perform better at at low volumes than I expected still having the presence of that nice bass response.

About the sound, they have excellent and ever-so-slightly emphasized bass response without the bass being overbloated or unnatural like in cheaper cans.

Just hooked up straight to the PC or MP3 player with flat EQ, they were overly biased toward muddy-sounding bass.

Get yourself some noise cancelling headphones or actual earmuff headphones instead- Huge frequency range so that low basses can sound great without getting cut off at 20
