M-Audio Keystation 88 II | 88-Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller with Pitch-Bend & Modulation Wheels

    • We had to sift through the confusing information provided as to where to go download the software needed to get it to work, choose the wrong software as a result of product spam,
    • My 5 stars are for the keyboard, with the included software being a huge bonus
    • The included software is actually quite good, it's a limited version of pro software and the piano sound is great
    • The free software that is supposed to come with it I had to find online and download, and it conflicted badly with Windows 10 to the point I had to uninstall it
    • This keyboard feels very solid and well made, the keys feel very nice and it comes with a bunch of awesome software!
    • Setting up with Cubase Pro and FL Studio was a breeze, the software recognized the controller immediately and the Modulation and Pitch wheels worked flawlessly from the get go
    • The software doesn't work and is uninstallable.
    • As a bonus, the free software and VSTi's (virtual instruments), which are downloadable from the applicable developers website after online device registration, are worth the price of admission by themselves
    • The free software that is supposed to come with it I had to find online and download, and it conflicted badly with Windows 10 to the point I had to uninstall it
    • It comes with free software downloads of the Ableton Live 9 Lite (basically the Live 9 Intro, which costs $99)
    • I use this for a cheap, versatile, and light-weight option for shows on the road as well as in my home studio, and it works great
