A lot of older printers are not supported by their manufacturers under Snow Leopard, but this is less of a problem than you'd expect -- Apple added the Gutenprint driver package to support a tremendous quantity of printers that have been essentially abandoned by their manufacturers, and I find it to be vastly more stable and effective than the older drivers

But, I do a lot of gaming on my Macboook Pro, and it crashes my favorite game of the moment all the time

A lot of the improvements in Snow Leopard (the new developer APIs) won't provide much benefit now, but it'll really pay off in a few years with many-core hardware and rewritten software to take advantage of the APIs

There are also a lot of 'under the hood' improvements that take full advantage of 64 bit processing and others that make life easier for software developers.

This takes up lots of space in your dock and can make it smaller, a big problem if you have a small laptop monitor

With that being said I expect that a lot of people will ultimately be disappointed with Snow Leopard simply because this is really not like any of the previous OSX upgrades

A google search shows that lots of other people are having this problem.

So given my history, I should know something of what I am talking about, and I can guarantee that Snow Leopard is the BEST.I really liked Tiger a lot, but it doesn't run on Intels.

Checking online for a fix to the problem showed me that a lot of people were having the same problems with graphics issues; some a lot worse than mine.

It does definitely refine a lot of what came before, which is what Apple was working toward
