Its the best OS in the world so people expect Apple to continue pushing the envelope and they rarely if ever disappoint

Love this OS

Is Apple's latest operating system, Snow Leopard, a strong, reliable OS that demonstrates the versatility of Macs

it definitely does run a little smoother than the previous leopard os but there aren't really a whole lot of changes.

Overall the OS is just plain boring

Makes system ready to install the free OS upgrade to Maveric unlike others (windows) it actually works for you and not against you.

But the price is right and the features really do make the most pleasant to use OS out there even better

spent $25 on a new OS (much better than the $200+ for the new windows fail edition), freed 20+ gigs up on my notebook - well worth it.

Still the most beautiful and elegant OS out there bar none

I like this OS just fine but the only thing I didn't realize that there were a lot of upgrades I needed to do on other software.

First of all, when one installs an OS this old on an older computer, nothing works, not even the Safari that comes with it

Fortunately I didn't install it on a production machine and I can still boot into an older OS X version that "just works".

That being said, Snow Leopard is a very strong and reliable OS, so I don't regret my purchase

This was the easiest OS upgrade I have ever done, and by waiting until it was no longer brand new, I was able to grab it at a bargain price

Just Google "Snow Leopard bugs" and you will see that this OS has major issues, and that Apple is not proactively addressing them

so I continue to have stable and Compatible OS.

Every OS upgrade, all the other programs as well; if it is on that download pop-up, it gets done

I got to disc to hopefully upgrade my laptop to the current OS X system available the only problem was the disc i received would never work

Great OS for older hardward

I haven't tried the multi-gesture update on the trackpad yet as this is my First Mac as a long time Windows "Fanboy" and I completely love the tight integration and superior OS and included apps

People always get excited for OS upgrades and rightfully so given how much time we now spend in front of computers

I would recommend this OS system upgrade to all Mac enthusiasts!

Great OS with free

I soon upgraded my OS and it worked like a charm.

Apple has recently re-issued this OS because of problems with OS 10.8, ie Mountain Lion.

Some games would simply not work worth a flip graphics wise on the Mac OS but would go flawlessly on the Windows XP and this was on the same Macbook.

I am positive this OS will be wonderful in time.

They had a very stable, fast and easy operating system on the market (while Microsoft had the worst OS in the history of computers) and they just made it better.

The Network utility alone was above and beyond and since I also also use Linux I enjoy this UNIX type OS

Snow Leopard provides enhances to the already fantastic OS

Snow Leopard is a perfect OS for people that only use internet or text applications or for people that use video, photo or audio software

You may not notice any new "whiz-bang" features, but for the price, you cannot complain about improving upon the fastest and most stable OS out there.

Why risk screwing up a nice weekend trying to fix an upgrade that went south.2- Early adopters always find glitches and bugs and Apple always releases OS X 10.XX.1 in a few days to address these problems

Research what the newest os is that works on your Mac

but for simplicity you would be hard pressed to find an easier OS upgrade.

While no OS is problem free, Snow Leopard is one of the better ones.
