The passive design makes it easy to set up, and I really like that there is a front aux input for quick access in case a visitor wants to play something from their device
-
Bright, clear sounds, and thoughtful design of the hardware
-
I really appreciate the thoughtful design - a large volume knob accented by a lit green ring (which is admittedly a bit garish), along with an auxiliary input jack and headphone jack right on the front
-
Loved the design so much, that I ordered it here to see if I would be satisfied with the sound quality
-
the design and style is very clean

There are some well-regarded 'faux-monitors' in this price range (M-Audio AV40, Alesis, Akai RPM3), so the diligent buyer will compare, but Mackie is a good brand and these are probably on par with the others (I've not used the others so I can't comment directly). The design is good, with simple, direct inputs and controls (a slightly longer power cord would have been welcomed, though)

Elegant sound and design
-
Design is very good, heavy
-
Solid base, good treble, good design
-
Worth the money, sleek design, A+ for the forward facing volume knob and aux/headphone input
-
and I really loved the design of Mackie

The design is clean and the cabinets are made from wood, not plastic
-
These monitors have a sleek design and sound great
-
The design is beautiful to look at; it is compact and has a small footprint compare to the unattractive, heavy and bulky M-Audio line
-
Solidly built, excellent sound, all the I/O options you need, they come complete with cables, sound insulating pads, and have a nice option to "flip" the powered side to left or right
