I work in a manufacturing shop, so there are a ton of very loud noises to overcome when listening to music in my office, but these do the job nicely!

All the noise that comes out is a very loud buzzing noise.

I had originally bought the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 speakers and returned them because they starting making a strange clicking noise

The next day I turn on my speakers to listen to music while working as I usually do, and notice that in the left speaker, every time a low bass sound is played, a feint static-y noise is made

Passive one started making very annoying noise after three months.

Solidly built, excellent sound, all the I/O options you need, they come complete with cables, sound insulating pads, and have a nice option to "flip" the powered side to left or right
