No complaints on build quality, and no buzzes or rattles

Recently the powered speaker started sounding a little bit muddy, but that has progressed to an awful buzz

They were great, excellent sound, smalls, powerful, but after a year and one month something fail and now if I turn them on, the only sound you can hear is a horrible buzz

These sound pretty good for the most part, but the left one has this absolutely god awful resonance buzz that occurs somewhere in the mid range if you turn them up very loud at all

The only complaints I read when I was searching for speakers was (a) They didn't have enough bass and (b

, etc.)For studio monitors they aren't completely transparent and don't have a razor flat frequency response, but if you already have good ears and experience with recording then these are great "B" monitors or primary monitors if it's for home recording and demos, etc

I had many computer speakers before, including bose, boston, yamaha and they all base their sound on the small stereo tweeters coupled with bottom heavy sub, creating this U shaped heavy colored "modern" theater sound
