    Mackie CR3 pair Custom White/Silver

    • Perfect monitors for studio film mixing.
    • I had these speakers for 18 months before they failed, before that they were good monitors.
    • The monitors are good but the bass is weak
    • These little suckers are fantastic, bright, undervalued monitors
    • Excellent monitors for my desktop
    • Great reference monitors at the price.
    • They worked great except the active monitor had a rattle, as if the woofer was defective or something inside was loose
    • Probably the best home studio monitor solution
    • Excellent speakers/monitors for the money, and I've very satisfied with my purchase
    • These are the best monitors at this price point I have ever heard.
    • Definitely great monitors for the price
    • So if you want studio monitors, you may need to spend ALOT more well designed/balanced monitors ofcourse, and if you want just multimedia speakers, Theres many cheaper options with WAY better sound balance
    • I'm not sure I'll never find a monitor again like this
    • Best monitors you can get for their price and size
    • BUTAside from the bass not being as I expected, they're an excellent pair of monitors for anyone who just needs a pair of cheap and easy monitors
    • but I'd expect the more expensive studio monitors to be more robust.
    • They are small, cheap reference monitors
    • Now, I'm not saying this monitor set surpasses a larger (and more expensive) speaker setup
    • good studio monitors.
    • VERY good quality monitors, especially for the price.
    • These are great budget studio monitors
    • Best Buy you can get if you are not trying to spend a lot of money and some GREAT quality reference monitors.
    • ow have great sounding monitors, a professional office and dont look like my daughter painted my speakers with Halloween fingernail polish!
    • Excellent self powered monitors for home or a small studio.
    • And for use as computer speakers at this price point, these monitors are great.
    • Great monitors
    • sounds really good to me, the cheapest studio monitors that had TRS cable inputs to use with my zoom audio interface, I have them mounted on the wall using these brackets
    • No way in the world these could be effective studio monitors.
    • Excellent monitors
    • Great studio monitors
    • these are good monitors and can be hooked up to
    • I think I'll record that and play it back to myself in crystal clear sound through my sick Mackie monitors
    • Great monitor speakers for home studio recording.
    • Best computer monitors I've heard, yet!
    • Great monitors for a small room.
    • I suppose these are decent monitors for the
    • EXCELLENT monitors
    • As the proud owner of a pair of Mackie HR824 studio monitors which have been trouble-free for over 13 years, I decided to get Mackie's smallest and most affordable "monitors" for background music at work
    • I received my Creative Monitor Speakers, quickly unboxed them, and added these speakers to my home studio setup
    • But these would work as budget reference monitors and are quite good as personal monitors for tracking/playback in a small home studio
    • Excellent home studio monitors
    • They provide accurate monitoring for efficient mixing
    • For the price, they are good starter monitors
    • Preface:Let me preface this by saying that I received a dud pair of Mackie CR4 LTD Limited Edition 4" Creative Monitor Speakers
    • Awesome monitors definitely worth the money
    • To give you an idea of how quiet these monitors are, they get less than half as loud as the M-Audio AV30 which is only 20Watts and also a 3" driver.
    • Had you asked me a year ago whether I would recommend these monitors I would have said definitely
    • Other than that, great sounding monitors!
    • Works perfectly as a monitor for your home studio if you own an external audio interface
    • As good monitors should, these deliver strong clarity at all frequencies and volume levels
    • The active monitor rattles
    • I will be recommending these to anyone looking for some amazing monitors!
    • With the caveat that I'm not a serious audiophile, but know enough to be dangerous..I love these monitors and would highly recommend
    • Absolutely love these, they're probably not the most "accurate" studio monitors out there, as other reviewers have noticed, but at the sub-$100 price point, I would take these over a comparable M-Audio any day
    • When I remove the speakers from the package, the passive monitor has a slight defective on the enclosure but doesn't effect the sound.
    • These monitors are exceptionally smooth in their frequency response
    • My budget was $200 and luckily you can get some really great studio monitors for this price, such as these Mackie CR4's
    • Highly recommended over more expensive and ubiquitous "white" paper coned recording studio monitors and/or the rhymes for "bonus" wireless home sound systems
    • Mackie should not market this as a clear sounding monitor with good bass response because it is not
    • Deceptively powerful, compact monitors
    • Highly recommended over more expensive and ubiquitous "white" paper coned recording studio monitors and/or the rhymes for "bonus" wireless home sound systems
    • My budget was $200 and luckily you can get some really great studio monitors for this price, such as these Mackie CR4's
    • this is the best desktop monitor i have ever owned
    • Not sure what the deal is, and it's not a good enough monitor to go through the trouble of getting it repaired
    • These are a nice pair of inexpensive (relatively) monitors for a home studio.
    • but well short of even my cheapest Mackie monitors
    • Good monitors for the price you’re paying
    • But if you're looking for a pair of easy monitors without as much punch, I'd recommend these
    • Many steps above the computer speakers/monitors available at the local electronics stores, including the big name brands.
    • They can work as monitors for those on a budget, but they're only going to perform fairly well in that application
    • I really love these monitors.
    • Great little monitors for the price
    • Pretty good prosumer monitors
    • I have to admit I felt totally unequal to the task of reviewing these monitors
    • Excellent, true sound studio monitors.
    • USed to be into more expensive monitors but these are a great addition to my office computer rig
    • If you want the bass to punch, these aren't for you, but in that case, neither are any accurate studio monitors
    • I was worried about them not getting loud enough and not having enough low end, but they are totally adequate and a great little monitor for my home recording studio.
    • They aren't full blown professional studio monitors, but they are self powered and sound amazing and that is what mattered to me more than
    • Great monitors for the price.
    • Otherwise they are great monitors.
    • That's why good monitors cost good money
    • They may not be the best reference monitors, but for the money and the amount of space they take
    • non passive monitor not working
    • These monitors are absolutely perfect for what I needed
    • They really are very good speaker/monitors.
    • The CR5BT is the best sounding monitors anywhere near this price range and are very close to Mackie's professional series (they hold their own) and lucky for me my wife surprised me with a set!
    • Perfect studio monitors for price and size.
    • Typically, the cheapest monitors are $150 PER monitor
    • Wonderful monitors at a reasonable price.
    • Very good monitors especially at this price
    • Passing through cross over and back out to left passive monitor
    • The Mackie CR5BT is a great Studio Monitor for home use
    • , etc.)For studio monitors they aren't completely transparent and don't have a razor flat frequency response, but if you already have good ears and experience with recording then these are great "B" monitors or primary monitors if it's for home recording and demos, etc
    • These monitors are ideal for someone in an apartment situation or parents house and don't want to wake up Aunt Vivian from sleep.2
    • But besides that.. Amazing monitors,
    • These monitors are awesome!
    • These monitors are absolutely phenomenal in my opinion
    • The monitors look good and seem well-put together but most importantly sound great
    • These are fantastic studio monitors for the price
    • I enjoyed these monitors when they initially worked, but after a little over a year of little to moderate use they went silent
    • These little suckers are fantastic, bright, undervalued monitors
    • These are some compact monitors, which I like because they fit in my small A/V studio
    • i loved these monitors.
    • These monitors are amazing
    • While an absolutely "flat" response is impossible for any monitor, I was quite surprised that these seem to be on-par with far more expensive monitors I've used in the past
    • Amazing little monitors for the price
    • I had these speakers for 18 months before they failed, before that they were good monitors.
    • 4 inch Subwoofer - 66w RMSLast of all, these monitors also came with foam to put up underneath to minimize vibration, but i wouldn't bother with it because they aren't as dense as other isolation pads, but its better to use them rather than none at all
    • If you are balls deep into audio, these may not be the answer for you but they are great starter monitors for at home production or just casual listening
    • But for rock, r&b, country these monitors are worth there weight in gold!
    • These are great entry level monitor speaker.
    • very good studio monitor for this price range
    • They are nice little monitors, especially for the price
    • what the other reviews say are true, these are great monitors for their price, however i docked a star because mine did not come with the isolation
    • Let me just say, these monitors are AMAZING for what I was looking for
    • As far as pure studio monitors Im not sure as I dont do mixing at all
    • I wanted to buy a pair of inexpensive monitors to run my 'quiet' music setup in my office
    • Excellent monitors
    • Decent monitor speaker but wouldn't recommend them.
    • The bass response is especially impressive for such compact studio monitors
    • Not the most advanced studio monitors on the market, but definitely the best studio monitors on the market for $99.
    • These mackie monitors pack a PUNCH
    • For the size and price, these are fantastic desktop monitors
    • I'm really at a loss because these are supposed to be decent quality monitors, yet my half broken, 15 year old Logitech computer speakers, 3 piece incl 10" woofer, sound arguably
    • Love the Mackie CR4, can beat the price, really can't afford $1000 dollar reference monitors
    • cant get past half volume till they clip, kind of a carboard bassy end, they are look a like studio monitors that are really just speakers
    • nice monitor speaker at home.
    • I would not consider these good studio monitors.
    • I use these for mixing music replacing my long-dead M-Audio monitors destroyed when my toddler punched the cones in
    • Super high quality monitors
    • These monitors are fantastic for the price, I am very satisfied with the quality, and they're far better than i expected.
    • Awesome monitors!
    • Nice monitors for a home studio
    • and I didn't want to spend too much money doing it and these monitors are literally perfect
    • If you need decent inexpensive monitor speakers, these work just fine
    • These monitors give really nice, crisp
    • These monitors are absolutely incredible
    • I have Mackie MR5 and the CR3 is good media/ studio monitors
    • Other than that, these are great little monitor speakers.
    • Overall if you don't care about bass much or don't mind adding a sub, these are decent monitors considering how cheap they are.
    • In a nutshell, these are very nice computer speakers, or fairly decent monitors for someone on a tight budget.
    • I'm not sure what anyone could expect to be better for a pair of powered 3" monitors for $99.
    • These monitors are wonderful for game immersion, and excellent for music
    • Great budget studio monitors.
    • Great monitors for the size and price, good frequency response all around
    • I’m in awe in how amazing these monitors are
    • The internal amp is definitely blown again, I leave the monitors on 24/7 which the manual doesn't say it's outside of the normal use
    • I'm not saying these are the best studio monitors, but they are great on the go
    • not enough consumer speakers/monitors do that.
    • These will be good monitors for you if you want to record music, play games, or watch movies on your computer
    • I generally like these monitors, but within a few weeks of use at low levels, the speaker with the inputs and controls developed a rattle as if something had worked itself loose internally
    • I generally like these monitors, but within a few weeks of use at low levels, the speaker with the inputs and controls developed a rattle as if something had worked itself loose internally
    • I bought a bose companion 2 at first and these monitors make the bose sound broken
    • I'm still laughing.. these things sound awesome.. and for the price.. they are by far the best studio monitors I've ever had!
    • I wouldn't recommend these monitors, unless you REALLY need a pair of monitors and don't plan on getting attached
    • Decent monitor speaker but wouldn't recommend them.
    • I use these for mixing music replacing my long-dead M-Audio monitors destroyed when my toddler punched the cones in
    • backward M-Audio.(3) The most important of all the sound is amazingly CLEAR and faithfully FLAT
    • I replaced some old M-Audio speakers that just died on me.
    • These units replaced a pair of 4" M-Audio speakers, which my 4 year old broke by experimenting with connections.
    • Solidly built, excellent sound, all the I/O options you need, they come complete with cables, sound insulating pads, and have a nice option to "flip" the powered side to left or right
    • This is annoying, especially if your best headphones are open-back- Half the time I use the speakers, theydo not work due to a really cheap L/R selector switch.
