Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • It is just the right size for a young child (I would say 4-6 yrs)
  • Sadly, if it could be properly tuned the sound from this little guitar IS very nice, and the size is perfect for my 5' tall feminine frame
  • The size was perfect and I'd gladly pay up to $200 for this guitar if it was playable.

Reviews around purchase (5.00 of 5)

  • Her music teacher had great fun trying it out, so that tells me it was a good purchase.
  • I personally trusted this purchase completely on the Gibson brand name plastered over the entire thing, and was rudely awakened to reality by this terrible little excuse for a product

  • Good finish and look
  • You will see that the finish of the neck/fret board is not great

Reviews around quality (4.03 of 5)

  • Very poor quality Chinese manufacturing
  • Maybe it's ok for a beginning guitar, but we'll be purchasing something with better quality in the near future.

Reviews around sound (4.03 of 5)

  • The guitar looks good, and is made well, but the sound it pretty bad.
  • It feels substantial in the hand, and has a nice sound.
  • The sound did improve, but overall there were and are too many dead spots on the fret board even when I played simple open chords
  • The frets are WAY to small for an adult and the sound is terrible (not sure if restringing it with higher quality strings would help).

Reviews around look (3.86 of 5)

  • After reading several reviews I decided to give this good-looking guitar a try
  • It's good looking and sounds good, although I did replace the strings, which was inexpensive
  • This is actually the second one I tried, the first never really got played because I noticed a very ODD and large amount of 'strange-looking-brown-dust' inside and sent it back
