Nice alarm clock, the light is a little too bright for my personal liking

You can choose off (black screen), dim (faintly lit), and bright (very bright)

During the day, the main display auto adjusts and is readable, but the projected time isn't readable (and the room has blinds and drapes so it isn't well lit).

The auto option would seem to be the answer, but it never seems to adjust to "high" level even when the room is well lit
