Even though the magnet anchors pretty well the phone, it does not stay put in the AC vent

My advice is to hold your phone up against your AC vent

Two Cons I will mention: dependent on the style of your car's dash and how the AC vents are laid out, it could get awkward trying to mount your phone especially if you have one of the larger form factor phones

This product holds onto the phone very well, however, when you go to remove your phone from the AC vent, the product comes out of the ac attached to your phone.

Here's the only issue I've run into: the mounts lose their ability to hold onto the AC vent over time.

Product overall seems great and works as expected but through occasional adjustments on my vent the metal inside the "prongs" burst through the rubber and scrapped my ac vents.

The only negative I have is that the way it fits my AC vents in my car makes the hold a little less stable, but that is more just the way my vents are shaped than an issue with the product itself

The pop socket mount has adjustable angle and sits further from the AC vent

I could never find a phone mount that would fit into my AC vent and hold my phone in the proper position for me but this item has been perfect

In addition if you car has air vents recessed at all the arm going into the ac vent is short and will be very limited on how you can mount it.

My phone overheats so having it over the AC vent is perfect.

Unfortunately, due to the size of my phone, using this has blocked my entire AC vent which is much needed in the Texas summer heat.

I went to Walmart and bought one that doesn't need the ac vent but has the attachment for the ac and the suction cup that will bend and stay in my preferred position for 20 bucks.

These are more compact/flush against the AC vent so make sure you don't have any stereo knobs or controls that will interfere with your phone against your AC vent

Little problem staying on AC vent

Slipped it on the AC vent, placed my phone on it, and away I went

Clamp is ok but arms could be a little longer to get a better hold on AC vent

Really strong magnet, but the problem was my phone is too large and heavy that my phone along with the mount kept falling out of the AC vent because that part wasn’t strong enough

and I would have had to put the metal at the top of my phone in order to be able to still use a portion of the AC vent

I placed my magnetic strip at the top of my phone and then put the wiz gear on the bottom corner of one of my AC vents.

Not as well as if you use the magnets that come with it, however, i just put one of the magnets on the back of my phone and now the hold is even stronger

They do send two sizes of metal plates and that was helpful but since he had to move the plate lower to use it wireless charger the stability on the magnet in the car is not as great as it could be.

The only downside is that because it fixes into your vent, if it is super hot out, sometimes I take my phone off it so the air can blow directly on me from that vent and not be partially blocked by my phone; as well as in the winter, if I have to blast the heat I am definitely going to take my phone off it temporarily til the car heats up enough that I can switch the vent to mostly floor vents, so that it won’t heat up my phone

I though these did and thought I was getting a steal a since it’s a double pack

But that’s so much better than having the phone and the mount fall out as with the ones that clip into the vent.

The problem is the other part of the car mount... the rubber/plastic pieces that slide onto the a/c vent loosens very quickly... a few wks

the a/c keeps the phone cool va the mount that was in the corner of the window which tended to heat up the phone too much in my opinion

Plus, the a/c cools my phone down because I always have it plugged in

but the only thing that sucks is that it blocks a/c on hot summer days not good

Some people might not like that it limits a/c or heat from that vent, but it is not a problem for me.

Just not functional for a MINI Cooper due to the A/C vent design of the car.

I'd suggest using both magnetic attachments on your phone to maintain stability, due to A/C vents turning

b/c the car mount is so powerful it pulled the magnet strip off my phone repeatedly until it lost its stickiness all together

Magnet is strong but the mount grip is v loose easily comes out when u pull the phone
