What are the clear plastic sticky things for?

Other than the fact that the magnet doesn’t look good pasted to the inside of a clear case (I didn’t want to stick it to the back of my brand new phone), the mounting thing that goes on your air vent isn’t the best

Two things I really like about this is: Very Small footprint inside the car, no large cumbersome unit protruding from the dash or console

Only thing is if you have a car that has a (eyebrow bone lip), or your vent is con caved this wont work for you only because the holder is pushed flushed with the vent but you phone will be blocked by the eyebrow bone lip.

These things are tough, and if you're in a rental, or driving someone elses car, the pull right off the air vent, and stick right back on the new one, only to reverse the procedure, when changing back to your own car.

Also if you go over a bump or a sharp turn the whole thing falls into my floor board
