That was still enough to soften the plastic, causing the vent blade grippers to bow (like a duck bill), so that they no longer clamped onto the vent blade.

With first use, end part where the little notch to prevent it from slipping out from vent blade will not close all the way which making it's great idea useless.

It has a strong magnetic base and the screw/clamp allowed for a nice tight fit on the vent blade

The clamp is just a bit too short for the vent blades on my Mazda6

Would be perfect if the clamp was just a little longer so that the lip would fit behind the vent blade.

I recommended this product to a friend who owns a Mercedes and it always come off when the phone is removed.this was because the vent blades are a little wider than the normal so my suggestion is to make peak of the mount little longer to make universal as the title suggests
