The mount is also compact so it doesn’t overly obstruct the air vent when the phone is not present.

This could sometimes happen because the magnets securing the phone to the mount are so strong that when you pull the phone off the vent mount comes off with the phone

The bite lock mount is a massive improvement over wizgears previous mounts

Great mount, has screw that holds it tight on vent, magnet nice and strong, you can just slide one of several magnets they give you between ur phone and case, you don't have to use adhesive if you do not want

This is a great car mount...ranks up there with the sturdiest of them all (out of the non-adhesive types) because of it's clamp down jaw with tightening knob

I could not find a good mount for my 2015 Acura with vertical vents.

The only annoying thing about it is that sometimes when I pull my phone off it, the magnetic's too strong and it rips the mount out of my air vent.

My son turned me on to the vent mount

This mount works the same as mine but looks way better and the magnet strength is second to none

The only issue isn't with the mount, but the air vent can be weak in supporting the weight of the mount and the phone, so it's best to put it on a stationary air vent or a vent with a ledge under it so that the mount has some vertical support.

Before this happens, the mount is perfect.
