I suppose the best way to look at it is a great mid range mic

I found long ago it was the easiest way to get the best sound you possible can.

(don't assume you can post-process your way out of a crappy recording, hence recommendation to this mic and get a pop filter).I grew up with Marantz hi-fi stereo equipment (yes! that generation)

Very sensitive mic but in a good way
