Mario Kart 64, the sequel to the first Mario Kart game on the SNES is great

If you are new to Mario Kart or even racing games in general, grab this game and I promise that after a couple laps you will already have a good understanding of the game mechanics and from there you are on your way to becoming a true MK Champion!I have a fondness for games that allow me to play around my busy schedule (it's not the same as when I was a kid and could sit in front of the tv screen for 5+ hours at a time playing a game and feel no guilt afterwards) so that's why I cannot recommend Mario Kart enough

The game is fun to play and its is better than Mario kart double dash the characters are limited unfortunaly.

I guess this pretty much means that I'll have to give Super Mario Kart a 10 as well

This was the first 'Kart' game quite like this.. there isn't any 'Kart' game like this either outside of the Mario franchise

Now fast forwarding to college, my friends and I still have Mario Kart 64 playing on the TV from time to time!I think everything about the game from level design, to the items, to the sounds and music is perfect

AFAIAC this is the best Mario Kart.

If you like this and own a Nintendo DS or a DS Lite (shame on ALL of you who don't!), then I totally recommend Mario Kart DS also
