    Mario Party 8

    • I played as Wario and hoped that he would be slippery, slimy, and overall mischievous in his ability to work the boards, but that didn't happen.
    • - this is a weird board.
    • Similar to the power ups in MP4.The Available boards at start are:"DK's Treetop Temple" - classic MP board, plays like you would expect it to play."Goomba's Booty Boardwalk
    • The mini games are fun and the boards you play in the "Party Tent" are great for someone who wants to be entertained and is competitive
    • But i warn you these boards get really repetitive
    • The board is just flat out boring, and nothing really crazy happens as opposed to the previous Mario Party games
    • I wanted side stories, capers, and tricks as we battled our way to the top board, but again, that never happened.
    • It is really fun to play, has great playing boards, and has awesome minigames
    • The games played out more like silly and tedious board games and basically gave me a headache.
    • Some are better than others, but overall I like most of the mini-games, I like the game boards, and they are fun to play
    • Gamers and non-gamers alike, of all ages, will find the mini-games very entertaining and the competitive boards a lot of fun!
    • The final board was exciting just because it provided something new, but it forced the gamer to ask, "Why wasn't this thought process used throughout the game?"This is a game.
    • There are some really cool new boards that you can play on as well, one of them being a beach/boardwalk where if you land on a certain space, you can ride a dolphin to another space or to a far off island, it all depends on which space you land on
    • The boards feel uncreative and slow
    • Why can't they make them lengthy game boards
    • Winning Mario Party is still about as much luck as in the earlier games, but the boards have some really nice concepts behind them and much of the frustration that the other games caused is taken away by minimizing Bowser's role, although I rather miss the character spaces
    • This particularly enjoyable board will undoubtedly supply you and your friends with hours of enjoyment as you strategize your moves and hope for the perfect roll of the dice
    • We bought this game when it first came out for the Wii, and seven years later we are STILL playing this game on a regular basis."Mario Party 8" is a great family game, that everyone in the family can enjoy, it's like a fantastic board game that you play on your TV
    • I've never lost a board to the computer, maybe I've just been lucky
    • The Spring and Whirlwind powers are very useful here."King Boo's Haunted Hideaway" - This board is a maze that is always changing, you are looking for the hidden star room in it, this board can be frustrating."Shy Guy's Perplex Express" - The board is set on a train that randomizes itself.
    • The boards for one are REALLY lame
    • Winning a board is often based as much on luck as skill and the plots are so thin that you can see straight through them.
    • The boards aren't bad but seem awfully short (particularly Boo's House and the Train);6
    • The boards are not fun, the mini-games are ok, but I don't play just for the mini-games.
    • Enough different boards and modes to keep the game interesting and FUN over and over and over.
    • MP8 is a buy; the boards are fun and the gameplay too
    • boards have more variety, especially conditions on how to earn stars2
    • Even though a lot of the games involve just using the controller as a classic style (D-pad on the left, 1&2 as a&b on the right), its still fun and not all of the games use that style
    • Most motions are only shaking the wii remote as fast as you can
    • I wanted side stories, capers, and tricks as we battled our way to the top board, but again, that never happened.
    • The physical "game town" within the game is small and after about three hours of wandering around, you fell as if you just need to get out of dodge.
