Our son, who is a big gamer, cannot get enough of this particular game
This game is a good beginner’s turn-based RPG, so if you’re looking for a game of that style, that’s approachable and easy to understand for kids or newcomers to the genre, this is a good game for that
Fans of XCom, I haven't played Xcom much, so I can't say how it stacks up, however you will find that 50% in this game, actually means 50%, rather than "MISS"
My husband loves XCOM so he was excited for this, and they both love Mario
Great game... if you like xcom and like mario you will love this game.
a Mario + Rabbids game!?This is similar to the stellar XCOM games in gameplay, and the world had been created with care
The game expects you to learn where these enemies appear by playing so you can replay and get it right the next time.- Puzzle-like Solutions - B/C of the item above the levels feel more like puzzles with one solution
Instead they have an "easy mode" option that feels like cheating to use.
Battles can get intense, and make you think, and for those who are less experienced you can turn on an easy mode at any time
Sure, there's an easy mode for people who don't want challenge, but I love challenge
you can go return to previous zones and complete new challenges! While there is an "easy mode" for little ones, I'm a grown man and this game has been very challenging at times lol
I'm not even a tactical game fan, as I usually am really bad at them, but the learning curve is very gradual in this game, and it only punishes you if you want it to (you can dip down to easy mode at any time to bypass this, but I like the challenge in this
Never expected this game to be as fun and addicting as it is
This game is a good beginner’s turn-based RPG, so if you’re looking for a game of that style, that’s approachable and easy to understand for kids or newcomers to the genre, this is a good game for that
After you beat each of the 4 levels you can replay them to get all of the stars as well as to complete some of the challenges
Hreat game to play on your own as well as with a friend.
I loved Rabbid Kong and Phantom! The music is amazing too
Unless you hate turn-based strategy games, you will quickly appreciate the terrific art style, catchy music, and charm that has been put into this game
The game looks wonderful, the music's fantastic, the gameplay is simple without feeling shallow, and the characters are surprisingly charming
The music is fantastic as well and the environment and enemies, especially bosses, are just so creative
The game expects you to learn where these enemies appear by playing so you can replay and get it right the next time.- Puzzle-like Solutions - B/C of the item above the levels feel more like puzzles with one solution
Never expected this game to be as fun and addicting as it is
The game however also is unique in its own way with Mario inspired unique abilities such as dash attacks, jumps, and team work abilities to damage enemies as well as navigate the environment easier and faster
This game is a big departure from the usual Super Mario Bros spinoffs
I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes Mario and SRPGs
Game play consists of moving your characters through a Mario inspired map
