Reviews around marshall (5.00 of 5)

  • For my needs this amp is nearly perfect; I need something LIGHT (I have back problems), somewhat FLEXIBLE (a few very good Marshall tones and decent cleans, simple FX, & programmable), and SIMPLE to load in/setup (one combo, one small footswitch)
  • All of the popular Marshall amp tones are right in this combo, and they sound great, and it costs barely any more than a decent Marshall amp-in-a-box pedal

Reviews around feature (5.00 of 5)

  • One of the best features of this amp is the Bluetooth and built in tuner

Reviews around value (5.00 of 5)

  • At times it doesn't respond exactly as overdriven tubes do, but the variety and ease at which you can customize the sound provide incredible value for the price
  • This is the best valued dollar for dollar amp on the market, and of course it is Marshall quality, and pretty and professional to look at
  • Overall marshall its a great value for 250 and sounds way better than line 6 starter amps u get more settings than just people who use the insane setting on line 6

Reviews around option (5.00 of 5)

  • It has far too many great options in terms of sounds, and each is very well done.
  • Amazing sound and function options to explore classic and vintage sounds of early tube to modern day digital all in one amp and for the price
  • Having the option of controlling it with your phone is neat, also.

Reviews around remote (5.00 of 5)

  • Again, it works fine as a remote for the parameters most of the time, but the range is not far, so it's not a huge benefit over reaching over to the dials

Reviews around speaker (5.00 of 5)

  • I do wish they would take this technology and put it in a higher quality combo with a decent speaker, it is VERY cheaply made.
  • Most people want their speaker to be clear and have presence, so I dialed this up to a 9 and was completely saved and happy

Reviews around plexi (5.00 of 5)

  • A few patches are VERY good (Plexi, Super Jubilie, JCM800)
  • For an amp, "Plexi" is the most pure

Reviews around practice (5.00 of 5)

  • Would recommend to anyone that needs a powerful practice amp that sings through a Celestion 12 inch screamer
  • This has got to be the best practice amp I've ever had, and I'm not a young dude or a new player.

Reviews around buzzy (5.00 of 5)

  • Fresh out of the box - bulk of the factory presets exhibit bright buzzy sounds with poor articulation on the low strings

Reviews around app (4.10 of 5)

  • The app and bluetooth are both problems considering they are a big selling point for this amp
  • app works great and he can play along with drum beats on youtube thanks to bluetooth feature.
  • The gateway app isn't the best app, but it's pretty easy to use and serves its purpose
  • they're spooky accurate, and the app makes edits even easier

Reviews around sound (4.03 of 5)

  • Boxy sounding complicated and very touchy on volume on 2 its almost too loud to play inside a house and too loud in a apartment
  • Fresh out of the box - bulk of the factory presets exhibit bright buzzy sounds with poor articulation on the low strings
  • Amazing sound and function options to explore classic and vintage sounds of early tube to modern day digital all in one amp and for the price
  • The clean and rock sounds from this amp are easy to obtain, but the metal noise took a bit of work
