This compact unit has separate bass and treble and the volume, while comfortably loud, is crisp and clear.

It's a good bookshelf speaker with clean sound and decent bass

Treble is still sharp as ever and Bass is powerful/clear as you could expect from a portable this size

The treble never gets in the way if the source material (MP3) is not lousy( try AAC320), and besides that it can be controlled with the simple turn of a knob (as can the bass) if its to hot.

While this particular Bluetooth speaker has "curb appeal" with it's vintage Marshall guitar amplifirer look and possibly appeal towards an audiophile because it is a Bluetooth speaker with adjustable bass and treble settings, make no mistake, it is garbage.
