Have owned several portable speakers but was always disappointing with clarity / fidelity and volume.

If you like listening to great-sounding tunes at a decent volume-level...anywhere, buy it.

We are using it in the living room and the volume is enough for the sound to fill the downstairs.

With the weight and size of this speaker, the maximum volume SHOULD BE LOUDER but this speaker seems to hesitate to go loud.

In comparison to the Soundlink, Kilburn Marshall seems to excel in nearly every aspect ;volume, tremble/base control, Bluetooth connection stability, design, battery life

Volume, while not 'loud', is more than enough for the music I play in the yoga room.

volume (with max volume with the connected devices) is barely enough to fill my small one-room apartment.- Marshall customer service wasn't very helpful so far - very time intense processI'd recommend spending the money on a JBL or Bose speaker for those who look for really nice and loud sound.

The volume with the Kilburn, however, is more than sufficient, and the maximum comfortable volume for indoors.
