I personally keep it on clean and use my pedals but the effects are pretty good too

I have been looking for months for an affordable effects pedal and an inexpensive amp with modeling that was small enough to practice at home but would be OK to jam with some other instruments

Onboard effects aren't great but do their job(still prefer stomp boxes)

Plus you can add effects on the channels as well

No effects , just speaker and headphone out got noise

but if someone bumped it the silly effects would go haywire and get in turned on /

The effects sound good for amp effects and the sound quality of the overall amp is fantastic

Overall, a well built, nice sounding amp with enough features and effects to make most players happy, at least for under $200.

This amp has pretty good clean sound; effects aren't too bad either, but I personally don't use them that much, except for the reverb effect

Who needs all this useless effects anyways when you cant even sound good to begin with?

My opinion is that this amp is great for someone looking for a simple, basic practice amp with no fancy digital effects.
