The ANC is much more effective than some others that I've tried which only block out the low low frequencies like engine noise on a plane...

The ANC was adequate but not as good as I get with my QC35s.

Yes, the ANC was defeated, but while walking I am perhaps a bit safer!

and they didn't bug me at all - the ear pads on these are just as comfortable as on my other set
