MartinLogan Dynamo 300 Home Theater and Stereo Subwoofer [Discontinued by Manufacturer]

    • It has enough power to fill my small room with very good bass and works well on movies and music
    • First reaction for this sub was that it was lacking power
    • However, it has enough power to produce the fullness in sound in a relatively large open room.
    • I think it sounds good; more than enough power to fill my little room with oomphy- bass
    • Very compact for a 10" subwoofer, and enough power to balance out my bookshelf speakers nicely.
    • I truly though I would need 2 but this is more than enough power.
    • If powered too high it does rattle a bit
    • 300W power is too strong for my living room, even if I used the low volume
    • Then I saw this lower priced ML and decided to buy it and try it as if it wasn't enough power for my LR, I knew I could use it in BR where I also have a 5.1 Denon (with just three Klipsch speakers) and then get a bigger one for LR
    • My living room is 16x18 with a 22 ft ceiling and this sub has more than enough power to fill it
    • Another benefit to removing the low frequencies from the main speakers is the amplifier in your receiver will not have to burn power on pushing low frequencies that can be reproduced better by the sub
    • Great powered sub, surpassed my expect stations.
    • I'm not sure there's enough power or punch for large room home theater use, but for acoustic music at moderate listening levels I'm quite happy with the purchase.
    • Lastly, I don't know why, but I've yet to use a sub that had an easy front accessible power button
