I don't recommend this tapes.

While they'll never be as good as chrome or metal tapes, they're way better than any other cassettes I've tested as far as peaks and noise go (compared to TDK and some generic walmart onn cassettes).A side note, as some other people have noted, occasionally you'll get ones with small cracks in the carrying cases that each cassette includes

Basic decent tape.

These tapes are the ones I wanted, I needed to record some music on a cassette tape,and these were the right tapes that I wanted.

Great buy, tapes are hard to find in the stores and the most important thing is that they are worth the price.

I prefer the XLII Chrome tapes over these, but I'd have to say the XLII-S are the best.

Great cassette tapes

want to get some recordings of my mom (93) when she comes out to visit... this is a great deal and 90 minutes cassette's are great to have for this purpose... i remember Maxell being a great quality tape back in the day... hope it still is?

This is good old school analogue tape from the days when we bought our music, kept it for memories and listened to whole albums, not to 5 second bursts

I always loved maxell tapes for cooying bootlegs (grateful dead mostly) and making good old mix tapes
