I had always thought of Maxell as a good brand, but when I use these in my smoke alarms, they don't last long enough.

I bought these in July of 2014 and have already had them run out in two smoke alarms, a wireless mouse, and multiple kids toys - while other toys/smoke alarms/mouses

They should be good for smoke alarms and things that alert you when the battery is dead

Don't trust the rest of the pack as far as I can throw it, and now have to go buy more because I fully expect the ones that are left to crap out in four days.

Just as good as the ones that advertise on TV all the time but at a much better price.
