This makes it a bit harder to determine where I need to reapply grease after cleaning the slicer.
My slicer is doing great and works as smooth as it did the first time I purchased
I use this every time I disassemble my slicer to clean it to keep it lubricated.
This is a good foodsafe product that will keep my slicer running smooth hopefully
I bought this for my home meat slicer (Chef's Choice 615), but 4 oz for home use is a very large amount, it only requires a few dabs each time you clean the slicer.
It has the consistency of Vaseline and goes on the motors and posts easily and does a good job of getting rid of the slight squeak on the motor as the blade spins
This is a nice thick clear grease that does a good job of lubricating the gears and moving parts.
I am using it on a Chef's Choice food slicer and it seems to be doing a good job
Only used it once but it seems to do a good job of lubricating
Does a great job of reducing the wear on semi auto espresso machine brew group gasket and making the seating of the portafilter easier by reducing the friction between the portafilter and gasket.
It is slightly thicker in texture compared to toothpaste and a 4 ounces tube for $5.50 including free prime shipping (as of september 2014) is a good deal considering that you only need a less than hazelnut size per lubrication
Fast ship great
Just what I was looking for, fast shipping, thanks.
as advertised, fast shipping
I needed one more item for free shipping and this was it

Alittle thinner grease than I thought it would be, but works fine.
This is a nice thick clear grease that does a good job of lubricating the gears and moving parts.
I'm a bit hesitant to give this product only 2 stars because it may well be a good product for other uses, but if you are buying this grease as an inexpensive replacement for the very expensive Saeco Silicone Grease, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
It works great, there's a lot in the tube, and there's no nasty grease smell
Some grease lubricants are listed as food grade yet smell worse than burnt rear-end grease from forestry equipment
