that grease used on kitchen appliances is used sparingly, Could have spent more money for a food safe grease but saw no point in it

Food safe, consistency of vaseline, large tube and it lubricates.

I was comfortable using this item as it is food safe in the event it does come in contact with the product I am slicing.

After a call to the maker and dicussion with a technician, he recommended a food safe lubrication.

This makes it a bit harder to determine where I need to reapply grease after cleaning the slicer.

It has the consistency of Vaseline and goes on the motors and posts easily and does a good job of getting rid of the slight squeak on the motor as the blade spins

I'm a bit hesitant to give this product only 2 stars because it may well be a good product for other uses, but if you are buying this grease as an inexpensive replacement for the very expensive Saeco Silicone Grease, I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
