Being that the space is tight and this is very slightly oversized from an actual sim of the proper size you can damage the sim pins if you reinsert over and over

SIM card adapter in general can damage your phone; they can damage the pins that touches your sim card

If you arent careful you can get the card stuck in the phone and bend/break your pins essentially killing your phone.

Broke the pins on my old 2nd Gen. Moto G that hold the SIM card in place.

, if you are careful and slow inserting and removing the SIM adapter, it has not damaged my S3 SIM slot pins

It worked as designed after I installed it, but it broke a pin out of my sim card slot when I tried to remove it

I looked into the original one with the corners and all in all there was a lot of horror stories of adapters breaking the pins off

Bought two of these before I realized it broke the sim card reader pins on my LG G3

The pins for the sim got destroyed in that process

The issue for me was breaking the pins upon removing the adapter + nano SIM from the tray

The little pin that comes in the pack was definitely helpful

Slide in, sim card fell out, got stuck, try to get out by using their plastics, damaged the pins, my 300-dollar phone is now worthless

We worked awhile to get it out and when we did it messed up the pins
