MEE audio M6 PRO Universal-Fit Noise-Isolating Musician's in-Ear Monitors with Detachable Cables (Smoke) (1st Generation)

    • This is not a bad problem to have with an in-ear monitor
    • I had problems with them coming loose all the time on stage no matter what rubber tips i put on them, so I decided to try these instead
    • Don't buy if you don't want to struggle with such an obnoxious problem
    • I can't overstate how much I like this feature: the problem with the wires has eventually occurred with every in-ear earphone I've had except these.
    • Biggest problem with headphones, for me, are the cables breaking or fraying
    • And they don't fall off, which is a chronic problem on some IEMs
    • The problem is the shape hurts your ears to the point of not being able to wear them for longer than 10 minutes without your ears aching.
    • Turns out I should have read more reviews as lots of people had encountered the same problem with bad bass and too high treble and rectified with different solutions from taping up and gluing up holes to purchasing equalizer software
    • This might not be a problem for certain kinds of music, like jazz or something much quieter than rock/metal
    • For customer service to immediately blame the problem on me is just unreasonable, especially considering my warranty report did not claim they were defective, just that they weren't working properly.
    • I have purchased $9 cheap-o headphones for my kids at TJ-MAX that sound better than these
    • Also one o the cords messed up, and two weeks later the other cable completely broke
    • O: 10Some people may prefer the sounds of IEMs that rate lower on my scale
    • - cheap-o imitations.
    • Low end is good down to 33hz (a low B on a 5 string bass), and the midrange is perfect for singing
    • I got the M6 Pro as a relatively inexpensive (and hopefully temporary) replacement while I try to get the B&Ws, which lost most of the right channel, replaced under warranty
    • The L-shaped hard plastic jack housing is similarly good, providing a surface you can get a good grip
    • More l like listening over an old phone receiver
