Great sounding and looking ride for CHEAP

Good ride volume (I do blast beats on it and it can still ring out) and the plus is that you can quickly go crash to ride

personally the HCS series from meinl are great cymbals for beginners, but for some reason the HCS ride actually sounds great!

Okay, This ride is seriously great

I tried a zildjian ride but liked mine better

I bought this 20-inch ride cymbal because after watching some drumming lessons on video I decided that I definitely want a nice large ride cymbal

But over all im very happy with the product it sounds good and is a GREAT extra ride for back up!

Btw, This hi hat works very well with my set which is a mix dark and bright cymbals (18" Sabian El Sabor Picante - crash/dry ride, Wuhan 14" crash, Dream

It has a great ride sound, a nice ting on the bell, and it is an AWESOME complement to the 16" crash

It does give that nice ride cymbal sound when hit in the right place and it sounds about what I would expect from a 20 in cymbal.

For the money, this is a fine ride cymbal

if you are looking for a cheap but nice crash-ride buy this!

In some spots it sound more like a gong than a cymbal, in other spots it has a that nice ride cymbal sound I was hoping for.

Works well as a thin style ride when hit lightly and has a big crash sound when hit harder

but if your looking for a good sounding ride for a good price i really recommend this ride.

i use Vic Firth 2B nylon sticks and i play lots of metal (metalcore, deathcore ect) and i love this ride.it has alot of stick definition and it has a really nice bell, and i think when using it in covers and such... the ride definitely has presence and i love it

the thing about this is it will take time gettin used to and you will have to fidlle with it to find the sweet spots you like and that fit your style mine is the bell PERFECT FOR when i play metal and do hip hop and R&b covers and also my other favorite is around and near the bell
