For a $100 Cajon you expect a low quality product, but I would agree with a few other reviews saying that this is a medium quality product for a very inexpensive price.

The Meinl Headliner Cajon is considered an entry-level/starter cajon, comes at a reasonable price, and has a reasonably good sound.
