    Memorex 8.5 GB 8 X Double Layer DVD+R - 50 Pack Spindle

    • Out of the first 25 that I've burned, 14 disc failed!
    • I've been using these things for years and can't even remember the last time I had a bad disc
    • Meanwhile I have 100 bad discs and no refund or replacement discs
    • I just purchased a spindleof these instead of the more expensive Verbatim discs which are 99% plus reliable
    • I had burned hundreds of the Verbatim DL discs with maybe 3-4 bad discs TOTAL, but was willing to give the Memorex a shot since they were considerably less expensive
    • My only issue is that the middle post of the dvd spindle broke immediately, but the discs themselves seem to work fine so far.
    • The first four discs worked fine without a hitch but after that coding deficiencies occurred that made it impossible to play on a DVD player.

    • I've burnt 5 Memorex so far, which have produced 2 that did not verify correctly and the other 3 are problematic when playing on an inexpensive DVD player connected to a TV (the other higher quality DVD player I have succeeds in playing these 3 discs though).
