I have been burning DVDs for years and this is the first time I have encountered a set of discs with a 100% failure rate

So far I've burned about 30 some odds dvds and haven't encounter a single problem with it nor did I had to throw any failed dvds out (like some reviews said)

These DVDs are extreamly bad.

Unfortunately, these DVDs didn't work very well for me.

as i said very few dvds actually stop working KEEP THESE DVDS CLEAN (scratch free and it will work perfect all the time so if you are careful with your disc's then buy them!)

I purchased dual layer DVD+R, expecting to burn DVDs in original format

I got these DVDs yesterday and tried burning a recording to this media like I have on numerous occasions.

These discs burned out my dvd player after burning 6 dvds

I've successfully burned 3 more DVDs with no complications.

As I tried to burn DVDs I got error message after error message telling me that there had been a media error.

50 pack of these are great but the concern is when you burn a disc a few weeks later with few scratches these dvds stop working

The only thing these DVDs are good for is Skeet shooting

Have used these DVDs for several years - rarely a failure.

I have burned 100 DVDs with 0 bad burns all have been tested

and I lose a DVD every 15-20 DVDs

These DVDs would not burn on my early 2008 MacPro

I am a multimedia developer and absolutely love these DVDs.

I use SONY DRU-840A burner hardware and Nero 7 software to burn DVDs

The only caveat is that we all have newer computers or DVD players which handle poor quality DVDs well

Unfortunately, as I actually had the crazy expectation of burning functional DVDs, I am displeased.

Because of the obvious problems other people are having, I can't necessarily recommend these DVDs, but if you are on the fence due to the reviews, just know that not everyone has a bad experience with these discs.

I called samsung and they said they do NOT recommend memorex brand dvds at all

So far with one pack of 50 I've already noted 10 bad dvds

I have to say that these discs though claim high capacity, they are very unreliable compared to the good old single layer dvds

YOUR BURNER.I used these in the past to burn DVDs with my Mac laptop's drive, and it didn't work

Most likely the people here just burned DVDs at 8x rate and their computer cannot support that

I purchased these from Sams Club simply because they were the only double layer dvds available.

They do work better that the budget blank DVDs.

I have a laptop, but use an external LG disc drive to burn DVDs, and I burn them at 4x, not 8x, using the standard Nero version 7 that came with the LG.

I have had a lot of trouble burning some double layer DVDs, but the Memorex DVDs always seem to work well

I received one 50 pack Spindle with defective DVDs, I tried only 2 with the same set up and software and computer, and I kept getting error messages and the DVDs wouldn't burn

When I started using them they seemed to work better than the verbatim with only 2 bad dvds and were extremely durable due to being made of heavier material than the thin verbatim's

They're the only brand I'm aware of that still manufactures proper Dual Layer DVDs

I like memorex,I been use it since almost coming to the market the blank DVD's,Memorex was one of mine first choices,first because the low price compare to others brands,and second,When I bought my third computer,and the dvd recorder fail to burned my dvds, I took my computer to the store where I bougth it,they replace it with a memorex dvd burner,since then I fell in love with the brand, I still had the same computer since then and the same memorex in the computer still working ,I built another computer for Me and the dvd burner is another memorex.my suggest for those who are looking for a good dvd

After receiving this item, I started burning DVDs and had no problems at all

These are great DVDs to use when you want to record a program that extends for more than three hours

great dvds worth the price once they've been written at a lower speed they're fine especially for the xbox 360 backup with the right imgburn and write speed settings they work like a charm

I recommend this DVDs for anyone looking for larger space to copy.
