I always use Memorex whenever possible for burning videos or files over 4.7 GB

so I could burn large files for later viewing.

Out of 20 attempts to burn ISO files, only 3 finished successfully, and they were all in a row

So it isnt a problematic file.

Finally, since I had just successfully completed a single layer burn, I tried a TDK DL disk just to confirm the drive wasn't failing on dual-layer burns, and successfully burned the same file which failed 3 times on the Memorex disks

It takes altogether 28 minutes for me to burn a 8.3G file on one disk, only 22M free space left

I personally would never use any DLs to archive important data files.

otherwise u may have to burn your files multiple times as the dvds don't last very long... if your low with money then buy them great for transferring games and your music

I'm just a bit paranoid about hard-drives and disc-scratches so want to back-up my expensive film collection and precious work files - and not drop a bundle on extra spindles in the process.

39 of the discs were defective, I wasted so many hours trying to burn files onto them and they would fail

(Black) Bought these DVDs and after trying to rip 10 DVD ISO files to them, only had luck with one.

I had some movie files and created a DVD for them, used these discs to burn those files onto.

So far I have went through about 10 of these with 5 successful burns using the same .ISO file.

i burn around 7GB iso files to the discs, use them daily, and have never had a problem with the quality.i use an hp desktop and my toshiba laptop with the program 'imgburn'

these dont work with asus drives at all i here thay work great with hp
